When lime and corrosion inhibitors are added to cooling water, maintaining the correct treatment level can be a challenge. DHC-Trace® technology, in conjunction with DHC-Trace® water treatment products, is now used to track the dosing concentration in the system in real time and intervene in case of deviation.
The new ICP-OES spectrometer of the latest generation is able to determine the concentration of dozens of different elements simultaneously in the ppb range. Within one work shift, 150 samples can be analyzed fully automatically for hardness formers, corrosion products and the concentration of the conditioning chemicals used.
